• Before the end of this year, Obama will take executive actions on immigration
  • Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson said on Saturday that President Obama will come up with some critical executive actions on immigration before the end of this year. He also added that this step may anger House Republicans as they warned Obama to not act singlehandedly on immigration issue.

As per the information gained from the reliable sources, Obama is planning to expand his executive action called DACA (Deferred Actions against Childhood Arrivals) and will allow work permits to more than 5 million undocumented immigrants and also ease down the deportation ratio.

In a conference held at the Regan Presidential Library, Johnson told that we really need to work fast to fix our broken immigration system and  the Congress consistently failed to pass the immigration legislation in the House and that is the reason Obama is coming up with his presidential executive plan.

However, Republican Senator John McCain, speaking at the conference, insisted Obama to give sufficient time to Congress to work on immigration reform rather than acting alone on this pivotal issue.
