\"14-july\"\u00a0Snowbirds (people coming into the USA from Canada or vice versa) need to be more cautious while entering and leaving their respective countries now as the US Customs and Border Protection has come up with a new tool that tracks the number of days a person is staying in and out of the country.<\/p>\n

Earlier both US and Canada were able to track only the entry of the person in to the country but things have changed with the new tool; it gives a complete report of person\u2019s whereabouts. This emphasizes the need for snowbirds to keep their own detailed report of the number of days being spent across the borders of the US and Canada.<\/p>\n

The tool has eased the tracking system considerably; both countries can now share the information with each other. Individuals too can now request for the report and compare the tracking with the border\u2019s record to rule out any errors, before potentially being denied entry back into the US for having surpassed the allotted number of days, by giving details of their passport number, full name, and birth date.<\/p>\n

A person surpassing his stay by more than six months in the US will be needing a viable immigration visa to continue to stay in the US.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
