{"id":2407,"date":"2016-11-15T13:53:05","date_gmt":"2016-11-15T08:23:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.easyime.com\/blog\/?p=2407"},"modified":"2026-05-30T10:37:30","modified_gmt":"2026-05-30T05:07:30","slug":"uscis-civil-surgeon-immigration-exam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.easyime.com\/blog\/uscis-civil-surgeon-immigration-exam\/","title":{"rendered":"The USCIS Civil Surgeon For The Immigration Exam"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.easyime.com\/General\/BrowseByState\"><strong>USCIS Civil Surgeon<\/strong><\/a> who conducts the mandatory <a href=\"https:\/\/www.easyime.com\"><strong>immigration physical examination<\/strong><\/a> and administers the necessary vaccinations for the immigration-based visas in the United States of America.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>DO YOU WISH TO BECOME A CIVIL SURGEON?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you are a qualified doctor and wish to practice as a <strong>Civil Surgeon<\/strong> you can do so, by applying to the USCIS \u2013 or the United States Citizenship and <strong>Immigration Services<\/strong> \u2013 the body that does all immigration work, in a form called the Form I-910.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The USCIS accords a limited number of blanket designations so if you fall under these you need not necessarily apply for a Civil Surgeon designation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF USCIS IMMIGRATION DOCTORS TOWARDS THE IMMIGRATION PHYSICAL EXAMINATION?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Every appointed Civil Surgeon is required to perform the Immigration Physical Examination as mandated by the Centers for <strong>Disease Control and Prevention<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.easyime.com\/uscis-immigration-doctors-atlanta-ga\"><strong>Atlanta<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.easyime.com\/uscis-immigration-doctors-atlanta-ga\">Georgia<\/a><\/strong>, or the CDC. The Civil Surgeon must keep himself apprised of all updates and any important notifications that are issued from time to time by the <strong>CDC<\/strong>. All information can be access through their website.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is important to note that no print outs are sent out to the Civil Surgeons \u2013 it is the responsibility of the Surgeon to get these documents online, download them and in this way, comply to the necessary documentation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>WHAT HAPPENS IF THE CIVIL SURGEON FAILS TO COMPLY WITH THE TECHNICALITIES?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If the Civil Surgeon does not comply with the technical dimensions then there is a danger of his designation getting revoked. It is therefore advisable that the Surgeon goes through all the rules and regulations in microscopic detail to avoid any problems from occurring.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>MATERIALS THAT WILL HELP THE USCIS CIVIL SURGEONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Along with CDC the USCIS works closely with medical doctors and accords instructions and updates on a regular basis, helping Immigration Medical Doctors to correctly perform the examination, under the purview of the Technical Instructions that have been formulated by the CDC.
