The immigrant community in the United States will soon see some relief \u2013 last weekend the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles held an information session for potential immigrant applicants. The response was overwhelming, with thousands of families attending the session.<\/p>\n
The event was covered by many important media channels, from newspapers to television, as the session highlighted the consequences of the executive action, action that will impact so many immigrant communities, especially members of the Latino community. But as this event unfolded across states of the United States on the same day opinions were voiced that the Republican party was not in favor of the executive action and so were not on the side of the immigrant. There were many people in the session who felt that the news of the upcoming executive action was good for most people but it did not benefit people who did not have children born in the country.<\/p>\n
